go farm raptors / snowmen in eotn.... tons of r7/8conches at raptors, tons of r7/8 focus and some r7/8 militia/spiked from snowman with bit luck.

In my experience yes, the HM pushes up max stats and requirements in my opinion.

I've had plenty of Armor 15's req 8 shields drop from NM, so if people are happy with that, fine.

but if U push U req down...get a fresh dat/exe.. got non gold stuff on it...

I looks like U can get more drops..25%..but Im still working on it..

Uhm can you explain it couz i dont rly understand that part. do you mean if you go farm with the idea you want Q8 or lower you get lower or??? as i say dont rly understand that part plz explain : ).

And btw what does drop gold Q8 weapons/shields more NM or HM and purple NM or HM? ty for reply

got 2 gold max q8 healing ankhs and 1 max q8 gold idol from farming mantids in NM. all had only 1 stat and it was the same on all 3. armour +5 while attacking.

the chests there drop q7/15 celestial shields too.
got a -2 enchanted but no second mod

its a huuuuge waste of time but still there is a chance of a perf q8

oh and BTW NM for q8s definately, apart from campaigns where u can get insc items then HM is the way

in my experiance, i have had many Q8/16 tactics (bout 7) in Kryta(more specific, around lions arch) in NM. , i certainly get more Q8/16 AL's in NM as it is much easier to get em in blue as in gold.

part 1:
in regedit, there is a directory of where gw.exe is.

all dat files have different serial number built if they are taken from various pcer.
so I expect that if a dat file is used too much it will affect the rate of gold and crap

part 2.

so all the req 7 at the beginning of gw ..
two days to reach as far as possible with the crap you got on the way in the game

what I believe is that if you have a crap weapon .. the game will try to raise the drop to a better weapon
so..I do not got any golden stuff on me and I use a req 5 and 7 craft staff..

lets just say my luck..is not bad.

I've read about the r7/8 items are best 'farmed' from creatures of lvl 19/20/21, so you expect low req items and hope to get a lucky one that's max, know what I mean? I mean if you think about it, how often does a lvl 28 creature drop a r9 max item and how often does a lvl 21/22/23 do? Well if you make alot of creatures explode daily you can also confirm it's the lower levels.

Also, the main and in my opinion sole use of r7/15 shields is for monks in PvP, where they need to spread their attributes and want to gain max benefit from the stances from the tactics line and their shield while still having a good healing/protecting capability. To clarify, when one does not meet the requirement for a shield and given that the shield is capable of increasing your armor by atleast 8, it will always give you +8 armor. So basicly, all inscribable shields offering atleast 8 armor are exactly the same in capability. If you would have a r6/16 tact darkwing defender, but have 5 points in tactics, it will give you 8 armor. Just like your r13/8 blue tact great conch will.

My point is, most of the stuff is pretty useless. I know a few people who collect them for their rarity and, I admit they are, some of them have darn sexy stats. So imho, it's a cool collection, but just as useful as my miniature mursaat.

I've had some 2-3 req8 focii and wands farming HM in kryta, but stats were horrible.. getting perfect mods r7/8 is really hard.

Req 8 great conch farming round Ratasum are easy to get, but as someone said: ppl is getting tired of this skins

I farmed a q8/16 Darkwing Defender (Blue) in EotN (norn point farming area, forgot what it's called.) back when bear form was still used everywhere.

I didn't think much of it was offered 20k so I took it.

Your claims are unbased. Pure luck or the devs' godly hand.

General PC:
q7/15 tactics shields, inscribable, go for as much as 70k+, even blue ones if someone's desperate or doesn't care. For a nice skin you can get much more. Command ones are also wanted quite often.
q8/16 tactics shields, inscribable, go for 50k+ easily. Even blue ones.
q8/16 str shields, inscribable, are worth much less and hard to sell, though would be 10-20k if you find a buyer.
q8/16 command shields, inscribable, may be bought by imbagons for ~20-30k, but rarely.
q8/16 & q7/15 motivation shields, inscribable, are hard to sell since casters don't generally spec into it and imbagons usually prefer command, but still may be worth a penny.
No real idea about q6/14 shields. They are worth a penny too, but it's harder to find a good buyer for them.

If the shield is not inscribable, but has double inherent max (or near-max) bonus, it's worth much more. q8/16 tactics Echovald Shield with inherent 30hp + 10 vs slashing/piercing can go for hundreds of ectos. Even a q9/16 is worth A LOT.
Don't get overexcited, as most inherent bonuses are useless, even if max.

White shields are, of course, merch food.

As for farming - if you want to test your luck and work on your treasure hunter title, you may want to farm chests in Factions, mainly in the forest, or in Prophecies in Perdition Rock. Chestrunning in EotN won't bring you any decent q7/8 stuff. Chestrunning in NM Istan might give you nice inscribable shields, but that's a lottery and you don't get TH points for it - still, worth to run in Istan instead of Ascalon Foothills if going for Lucky.
Aside from that, q7/q8 shields drop occassionaly everywhere. I had most my drops from NM EotN, when farming Glint's, farming Raptors or just doing quests. Had a few nice q8 shields when vanquishing, as well.

Other than that, there's no given farming spot.

Well I just sold a Gold Q6 Tactics AR 14 Inscribable Great Conch for 40K and it was a fast sale like 4 hours.

As for farming them UW drops a few q8 items in nm, not inscribable though, my advice, run around and kill stuff eventually you should get 1.
